Open Range was the perfect place for our one night stay on a cross country road trip. While we came in at night, in the dark, we woke up to a gorgeous surprise of views. The house itself was very quaint and decor. We loved the decor. Unfortunately we did not have the time to enjoy the games and such provided, but it is nice to have for those who can. The coffee bar with the fixing and popcorn basket was also a nice added touch. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, I’d come back!

Loved staying at Buffalo range. The location is perfect for peace and quiet. Really enjoyed the stars at night. Carol was very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. The home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. I am looking forward to spending more time there in the future.

Remote! Remote!! The stars!! This place is great! Instructions are clear, communication was fantastic! It’s a long gravel road but worth the drive, even in a snow storm!!

We were looking for a place close to Little Jerusalem Badlands, and this location was perfect. We found the space peaceful, quiet and comfortable. There is a lot of interesting scenery very close and this had a good view of the valley to the south.

The Buffalo Range is perfectly situated for exploring The Badlands & Monument Rocks. We were surprised about the number of interesting attractions and plan for a second trip! The vistas are long and picturesque- watching a storm roll in was spectacular! Enjoy watching the sunrise on the patio and sunset! The home is comfortable and very private. For a location on the prairie, for those who would appreciate a working vacation, the internet is very fast and there are no issues with cell service reception. The Buffalo Range is a true treasure!
